My worst walking day ever
By Anneleise
It was another sunny day at the African Savannah, and it was hot. We need some clouds and rain for once. It was awesome December because we started the migration. I was very happy because my dad just started being the big bull. I was feeling so great because I finally started migration.
I was walking down the river bank with my family. My dad was horrified because he saw the lions getting ready to get him and my family. I was feeling frightened because my dad was horrified that he smelled the lions. I heard the lions roaring at me because they wanted me for their delicious lunch.
Suddenly the lions were chasing me because they want me for their lunch and I felt so scared. I could taste the feeling in my mouth that I was going to be eaten, but I wasn’t. On my body I felt so crushed because I had a lot of scratches on my face and body because the lion had sharp claws. When I got caught by the hungry lions it was really scary and it was like ‘Bam’ because she jumped on me and scratched me. Then I saw the crocodile, I saw his razor sharp teeth and it was really big and scary. The lions were really scary because I could see their eyes flashing at my eyes like they were going to eat me. They played tug of war with me. The lions won and dragged me out of the discussing water and pushed me so hard on the ground. Suddenly I could feel the stomping on the ground made by my herd who were coming to rescue me. The herd was kicking the lions and pushing the lions away to get me back. The herd got me back for good because the lions are gone forever.
When I got rescued by my whole family I was very proud of them because I was worried that I could have been killed. When they were chasing me I was shaking because they had very sharp claws and very dribbly mouths. When they were chasing me it was scary because I thought they were going to get my family instead. The crocodile came and popped out of the water and bit me so hard that his teeth cracked. When the crocodile bit me, he was playing tug a war with me and the lions won so thats how I escaped.
So now I’m finally free from the enormous battle of the Kruger and now I’m finally free for once. I feel soooo happy because I am out and with my lovely family.
Anneleise, it has been so neat to see how your story has progressed and that you have been going back and improving your writing. I am also really impressed to see you using full stops, capital letters and paragraphs. Your next step is to make sure you make it clear how the problem was solved. For example, how did you escape from the crocodile?
ReplyDeleteI love your presentation Anneleise, I love the way you said ''The crocodile came and popped out of the water and bit me so hard that his teeth cracked''. Maybe you could put some lion pictures on your post, well keep up the great work.
