Blobs in a bottle

Today in science with my group Hope and Addyson, we made a lava lamp in a empty coke bottle. We each got a turn of adding the ingredients in and it was fun. Our lava lamp didn't do what we expected to be but it was success. 

Oil is lighter than water so stays on top of the water. The quick - Eze go through the oil into the water and start to dissolve. When they dissolve they send bubbles up through the oil.

The ingredients:
3/4 cup if Water
Vegetable oil 
Food coloring
Quick Eze / Mylanta tablets
