Tane Mahuta - CIP
This week in Tane Mahuta CIP, we have currently still been weeding around the planting rows/area and starting new rows for new seeds that we need to grow. We also have been doing some more planting as well, such as Carrots, Watermelon and Corn and then later we watered them once we were finish. I helped loosen out the dirt and mixed in some fresh dirt before I started planting more seeds. I was planting with, Tasharn and Evelyn. I enjoyed doing the same routine every CIP and the three periods were good.

Tane Mahuta - CIP
This week during Tane Mahuta CIP, we have been doing some more weeding around the garden rows that had plants such as potatoes, beetroot, cabbage etc on them but, had to be taken off because we couldn't see which veges was which. I also got to make a another garden row for more planting to do once we've finished, and I was doing it with Keyana, Janel and Addyson. I have been doing this for four periods and got so much work done and dusted. It was a success through the whole four periods and I enjoyed doing some more weeding.

Tane Mahuta - CIP
Today in Tane Mahuta CIP, during period 2 all the way to period 4, we have started clearing and weeding around the vegetables and the trees we have planted last term. I did some weeding around the beetroot and the cabbage with Khaylanie and Bailey and it took us all the way through the last 3 periods. We didn't have the opportunity to do some last week because it was raining so we had more work to do today. Today was a success and looking forward next week.

My Dream House - CIP
Today in Tane Mahuta CIP, the teachers set up a task board filled with different chooses relating to gardening. We were supposed to do more gardening at our gardening area but instead it was raining so we did a activities that the teachers planed for us. I chose to use Tinkercad, which is a site for creating things 3D, to create a 3D model of your dream house and a Garden.
Here is the task board that had all of the chooses for us to pick out of:
It was my first time using Tinker cad and It was a struggle to try and figure out how to use it. I was very difficult to make a house and a garden but I am proud of how much I've done. It was a success through the three periods and I enjoyed using a new learning tool/site, Tinkercad.
This is what my dream house and garden turned out:
I created my dream house and garden like this because I didn't want to make a huge house to make it difficult for me to create and also because I wanted to be creative about the house with colours and different shapes. But I had fun making my dream house and garden and hope you enjoy it.

Tane Mahuta - CIP
This week, week 8, in CIP Period 2, I was weeding grass and some old plants with Keyana and Janel. We were weeding because we were making the dirt fresh to start planting flowers seeds later on in period 3. After that, I was planting some broccoli, salary and lettuce and then using the buckets to start watering them once we've gently covered them inside the dirt.
In period 3 after morning tea, we went straight to the garden and started planting the flowers seeds near the area where we were doing weeding in the last period. Mr Tisch poured small little seeds into our hands for us to sprinkle all over into the dirt and then left them to see to go back and see them when we have our next CIP in week 10. I enjoyed planting all of those seeds today and I hope you enjoy my blog post.

Tane Mahuta - CIP
This week in Tane Mahuta CIP, in period 2 just after Kiwi Kaha, we did a little bit of shifting and cleaning the outside classroom, while it was spitting of rain. Keyana, Janel and I got told from Mrs Allan to heave out the Ivy weeds and stack them into piles. Everyone else was just shifting some wood and other furniture to the side and got some work done.
In Period 3 it was pouring rain outside so we did some painting designs on rocks. We were painting rocks because we were going to put them in the classroom once we've finished cleaning it up. The design that I have chosen was related to my culture which was a Samoan turtle. Here is a photo of my rock that I've painted and I hope you like it. I enjoyed painting designs on rocks and looking forward for the next CIP.

Tane Mahuta - CIP
This week in Tane Mahuta, CIP, I have done some planting Spinach, Celery and Coriander seeds next to where we planted the beetroot and the other vegetables we've planted in week 5. We have been clearing some weeds in the greenhouse and also found some stone tiles that we needed to stack to the side, and also for us to get prepared to do some new planting in there.
There were others that were separating scrap metal to sell to earn some money. There were not as many people doing some gardening because they were at there passions and some were at Kiwi Kaha, so there were enough work for me to do.
Overall I enjoyed carrying on doing some more planting this week and the whole three periods from period two has been successful for me.
