Reflection on Fitness test

In week 2 in P.E, we started our fitness test. There were 4 courses for us to do and they were the Vertical Jump, Flexibility Sit and Reach, Muscular Endurance/Sit ups and Grip Strength. This was our second time doing the test. The reason why we did the test again was that to see if we've improved our fitness and compare it with our old scores from last time.

When I did the fitness test the first time, I did pretty well but I was thought that I could improve a little bit next time. In my own opinion, I think I've improved in my fitness in the second test because in my sit ups I beat my old score by one and in my vertical jump I got 2.4 instead of 2.3.

We got into 4 groups of 12 and each group had a score keeper/ the person who writes the scores. We first went and did the sit and reach test and I got 29cm. We had to sit on the floor with our legs straight and our feet touching the box and then we had to stretch our body to push this little block on the box just with our fingers to see how flexible we are.

Next we did the Grip test and my score was 24. The aim of the grip test was to see how many squeezes we could do with our hand and to see how strong our hand was. After the Grip Test, we did the Vertical Jump and I got 2.4. I've improved on my second score just by one because in my last test I got 2.3. We had to put our foot against the wall and put our arm up on the wall, but relaxing your arm, and then jump three times to see if you can beat your old score.

Finally all we had to do was the sit ups. I did 15 of them. We were not allowed to have someone stand on our feet to keep our feet steady on the ground, while we were doing the sit ups and we had to keep doing that to also see how strong we were and how many we could do.

I like how you've added your own scores and compared your recent scores with your new results.

  3. hi Anneleise i like your blog post because you used good explaining words. I think next time you could put the pictures up by the words to make the format better. Do you think you could do better in all of the tests?
