Beyond the Lines

Once upon a time I was in bed with my brother for a bedtime story. My grandpa was telling a story about World War 1 and explained how lots of soldiers went to fight in the wars.

When my grandpa was telling us the story about World War 1 we went fast to sleep. While we were asleep my grandpa said quietly to my dad “ I bet they're going to dream about the war”, and my dad nodded saying yeah.  

 In my dream I was with my brother and we were in a ship with some soldiers. There was paper covering their faces, so we were scared.

The door of the ship opened and the soldiers were running so we ran too. When we were running my brother fell so I helped him up.

I looked up and saw soldiers dieing so I quickly ran as fast as a cheetah! I had my brother with me and we hid behind the metal poles.

After hiding behind the metal poles, my brother and I woke up and screamed, and my dad and grandpa herd us so we ran to them and gave them a big hug.

The Cloud

The cloud

One day I was a special and helpful cloud flying around in a city with tall and enormous buildings.

A lot of people were looking at me because I was the only cloud moving.

When lots of people were looking at me, I accidentally covered the traffic lights so they were glowing red, orange and green on me.

After I stopped glowing I went somewhere else so I squeezed through a gap and went in this tunnel then I dog started barking at me and gave me a fright.

I saw black and dusty smoke coming out of the sky, so I went there and poured some cold and freezing rain down, the fire fighters really appreciated it.

This is my DLO for maths. DLO means digital learning object. You can do it on a goggle slide or google drawing. I did it on a slide because it's much easier for me. Hope you like it.

Once upon a time, I was a small boy and I was the size of a thumb. I was living in a palace with my dad and my kind six brothers and their princess brides.

One dark night, one of my brothers were annoyed because of me, so he went for a walk but he never came back the whole night.

In the morning he was still not home so I thought to myself that he got kidnapped from a stranger so I told my dad.

When I told my dad he was very worried because it’s meant to be his wedding tomorrow. So I told him that I will look for him.

I realize that I can’t fight because I am the size of  a thumb so I probably have to ask my dad for the big powerful sword.

After I got my sword from my dad, I went to look for my brother but I ended up showing off with it so I hit myself and went looking for him.

I saw a scary upstairs house but I had to go in there anyway. I heard my brother shouting out for help up stairs so I went up.

I saw a door and opened it and I saw my brother, when I opened it someone was standing near the door and hit me and I collapsed.

Spencer Park Writing

Spencer Park Day

Last Friday, My class and all the trekkers went to Spencer park and that day was a really beautiful day.

We went to Spencer park because it for our experience.

All the people that is going to Spencer park has to give 2 dollars to Kirsten so there’s much money for the bus.

We had to go to our teachers so they can put a number on our hand and to see which group we are in. The group that I was in was group 4.

It was time to line up outside and started to walk to the courts to meet the other classes so we know which who is going in the bus or car.

When I was in line I saw a teacher called Tash and she told me that I was allowed to go in her car all the way to Spencer park, and all the way from Spencer park to school. I was really happy because I haven’t been in her car before.

She went and asked other kids if they wanted to go in her car to and there names are Blessing, Janel, Addyson, Hope and Sharney.

When we got there, I hopped out of the car and walked to the trees, where everyone was and sat on the hard and solid ground for the teacher to do the roll.

After the teachers doing the roll we were allowed to play on the playground for 2 minutes before we go to the beach to look for cool treasure.

When we were playing one of the kids in my group called us because it was time, so we went to our teacher and she told us we were going to the beach first.

Our teacher told us to line up in 2 lines and we did but some kids keep pushing in front of me so I was moving back and I end up neally at the back of the line.

After that my group went down to the beach and we got our plastic bags out. We got our plastic bag out because we have to look for treasure like shells and some sticks and dried seaweed.

 When we were still finding treasure, it was time to have lunch so I went to my bag and opened my morning tea and ate my sandwich and chips.

After we finish from the beach we had a rest for a little while. Then we went for a walk around where the birds and spiders are. When we were looking at the spiders and birds, our teacher took a photo of all of us and we looked awesome.

We finished walking around the spiders and birds and now we have to walk back where all the other groups are and sit down on the ground and listen to Mr Scott. Mr Scott said we were allowed to play on the playground until we hear his whistle.

I was playing on the spiderweb with my friends Janel and Alliah, then we went on this spinning circle and got really dizzy and heard Mr Scott’s whistle so we went back.

When we went back he said we can get a fruit on the way to the bus and we did. I’m not going on the bus because I got chosen to go in tash’s car so I was lucky.
